Fast Day 52: a bit out of practice!

Break – 6.15am – total 50c

  • 57g orange = 27c

Lunch – 12.40pm – total 172c

  • 98g cucumber = 14c
  • 73g carrot = 23c
  • 60g cherry tomatoes = 11c
  • 91g nectarines = 40c
  • Tamar Valley Greek yog – mango = 84c

EXERCISE:  30 minutes swim.

Dinner – stirfry – total 278c

  • 300g Macro Momen tofu = 156c
  • teaS canola oil = 41c
  • 50g Lee Kum Black Pepper sauce = 67c
  • 123g broccoli = 41c
  • 150g red capsicum = 46c
  • 400g can Woolworths home brand sweetcorn = 192c
  • 60g beansprouts = 12c

555 / 2 portions = 277c

  • Woolworths 250ml diet coke = 1c

Fast Day 52 Total = 500c

Had a cold last week so decided not to Fast- restricting food when not well- I figured probably wouldn’t be a good idea!  So here I am after a week off.  Feel like I’ve not been very consistent with it recently so it felt a little tough today as I’m a bit out of practice, but I did it.  I made it.  Even did half an hours swimming so I didn’t do too badly!  Before lunch my tum was gurgling for food, but then I remembered that I should be drinking lots of water and that helped!

The veg for lunch was cos I hadn’t fully planned dinner (couldn’t till I chopped the veg up and weighed it), so had to make sure I ate something light for lunch.  Was filling, all the veg, but not sure how satisfying it was- the yogurt helped cos that was creamy and tasty!

All in all, was an ok fast.  Hopefully I’ll do alright on my next one too! 🙂
